As a useful preparation for birth and pregnancy I offer private classes combining yoga and hypnotherapy techniques for pregnant women. These classes can be done with your birth partner as a great way to learn how to support each other physically and emotionally or on your own to help prepare for childbirth. Yoga practice can help provide the self-knowledge to take control of your labour, to actually experience it rather than see it as something you need to get through and to approach it with less apprehension. And beyond that it prepares you for becoming a parent.
The classes include some safe yoga postures to keep you strong during pregnancy and some postures which can help during labour.
Breath work and mantra useful in pregnancy/labour/to ease anxiety and calm and soothe the mind.
A lovely hypnotherapy relaxation ( a recording of this will be available to take you through the pregnancy)
